Wi-Fi design & survey

Coverage that's planned rather than guessed. We model the space before anyone drills a hole, then validate it once the access points are live.

Structured cabling

Copper and fibre installed to a standard you can hand to the next engineer — labelled, tested, and documented.

  • Certification testing with per-link results supplied

Deployment & commissioning

Hardware installed, adopted and configured properly — VLANs, routing and firewall policy set up the way you'd want to inherit them.

  • VLAN segmentation, guest isolation, inter-VLAN policy
  • Firewall rules, port profiles, PoE budgeting
  • Controller configuration on a hosted or on-premise controller

Wi-Fi that was designed, not duct taped.

Most poor wireless isn't a hardware problem — it's an access point in the wrong place, on the wrong channel, at the wrong power.

We start from the floor plan and the way the space is actually used: where people sit, what they're doing, and how many devices arrive at once. Construction matters — a stud wall and a concrete core are very different problems, and a predictive model that ignores that will look fine on paper and fail on the floor.

After installation we come back and measure. A validation survey confirms real signal levels, data rates and roaming behaviour, and produces a heat map of what was actually delivered rather than what was predicted.

Applies equally to UniFi and Omada estates — the design work is vendor-independent; only the implementation differs.
